Why Ginger root/rhizome powder (dried) is unrated

The 1.2-2 g/day diabetes meta-analysis cited on the compound used powder capsules, but no head-to-head human comparison of powder vs extract was found in this pass.

Why Ginger extract standardized to gingerols (and gingerol/shogaol marker rows) is unrated

A declared gingerol percentage describes composition, not demonstrated superiority; no verified comparative trial. Rows whose own name is the marker ("Gingerols 25 mg") are the marker mass, not ginger, so they are recorded without a dose to avoid double counting with the extract row they sit under.

Tiers summarize published comparative bioavailability or outcome evidence for each form (see methodology). This page describes the market; it is not a recommendation to take either form. Talk to a clinician about what's right for you.
